Victoria & Emily

I have a couple sessions from before I left town that I still have yet to blog and this adorable family is one of them. We met over at their house and then we headed out to a nearby creek which was a beautiful setting for portraits. I couldn't resist snapping this shot of Victoria behind her little laptop. Her little piggies sticking out were just too cute.

It really looks as if Victoria was on her way into the creek but I assure you no children were harmed during this shoot. I would LOVE to have this area near my house.

I'm Back!!!!!!

It feels like forever since I've posted anything on my blog and believe me it's as hard on me as it is on all of you. I LOVE to post new stuff and it pained me not to be able to blog for over 2 whole weeks.

I'll start with a few fun photos of my friend Brekke. A few weeks ago I recieved a random text message from Brekke (as most of her texts are) that said and I quote "I wish I had a pair of suspenders.. I don't know why, I just do. I would wear them everyday!"


Well dear Brekke.. ask and you shall recieve!! And you better be wearing them EVERYDAY!!

Ashley

Meet sweet, adorable Ashley. I'm always excited to meet new families and I usually get a few butterflies in my stomach as I arrive at their house to meet them for the first time. What will they be like? Will we mesh well? Will they get me and my photo style or will they see right through to my dorky core? These are all the usual things I was thinking as a drove to met John, Joni and Ashley but all those thoughts quickly faded as soon as I met them. They are so laid back, down to earth and all around AWESOME. They made me feel right at home with their family and put up with any crazy idea that I had even snuggling up with their sleeping daughter in their yard amid the morning dew and ant hills. Enough talking let's get to the good stuff!

I really loved this tree in their back yard.

It's no secret by now that I'm a sucker for fat little baby feet. I LOVE how when they are so little it just doesn't seem to be enough room for those little chunky toes and the second ones sticks up higher than the rest.

Ashley fell asleep when we were walking back from the nearby beach so that lended itself perfectly for snuggly photos.

Got Triplets?

I first met Payton, Parker & Preston about 6 months ago and just last week I got to visit them again to capture their 2nd birthday photos. We spent a chill afternoon hanging out at their house and exploring in the back yard. Payton
Preston and Parker are identical but I'm fairly confident that the following photo is Preston (I LOVE it because you can see the other 2 in the background)
and Parker (I think :)
Big Sis Helena is celebrating a milestone birthday as well (a whole hand old!!) She is such a little rockstar and I could have taken photos of her ALL afternoon.
She looks so mature here. An absolute beauty.

Preston would flash the cutest smile at me but only after he would shove peanut butter pretzel sandwiches in my mouth. It was funny and quite delicious.
I was hiding under the playground to get this photo. After which I immediately went running and flailing about since I found a mini hornets nest under there. Scary!

In the corner of their dining room they have all the kiddo's hand prints on the wall. It's so cute.
Mama Denise is such a beautiful woman both inside and out and is a fantastically sweet mother. I was so glad when she wanted to do a few photos of herself for her husband. I think it's important for every woman to get some beautiful photos of themselves done from time to time so they can remember just how beautiful they are.
I just love this one of her laughing.
