Mt. Vernon Gardens
This was my first shoot with my new lenses and my new Shootsac which made it especially exciting for me. I tried hard to contain my excitement and not make my self sound like a geek by raving all about my new gear to this poor unsuspecting family.
This family was so much fun and really kept me on my toes. I would be taking photos of one child and another would be crawling up my back. It was so funny. Here are just a few of my favorites from the morning.
This little guy was too fun and he is at such a sassy stage. I love it!
I couldnt' resist posting this photo. What a classic photo of trying to get the 3 siblings together. We have one attempting to smile, 1 that is bored out of his mind and 1 that is mistaking our attempt at creating art as torture. So funny!
I love the face on the little man in this photo. That really sums up his personality. He had me cracking up all morning. Thanks guys!!

Last Day in Chicago
I was in Chicago for a fantastic workshop with Audrey Woulard www.alwphotography.com I learned so much on natural lighting, business, photoshop etc. I can't wait to put into effect the things that I learned and take my business to a whole new level. Here are a few of my favorite photos. Our senior models were absolutely beautiful!
Our little models were adorable as well!
This Fire Station was used in many scenes of Backdraft with Kurt Russell
And this building was in the very climactic scene of one of my all time favorite movies growing up. Adventures in Babysitting with Elisabeth Shue.
It was a fantastic visit to Chicago and I can't wait to visit again!

Chicago ~ Day 2
We are having a blast here in Chicago. Today we bummed around the city all day taking in the sites. The face in the below photo is this really awesome fountain in Memorial Park. You can't really tell in the picture but water is constantly pouring down the face and the picture changes to different faces. The eyes even blink and the mouth moves.
We visited a great photography exhibit in the Museum of Contemporary Art which was very inspiring. The below sculpture "Short Cut" sits right out front.
They even recently added a piece from the World Trade Center
I just couldn't resist taking some photos of the kids playing in this fountain at Navy Pier.
No trip to the windy city is complete without a Chicago Style Hot Dog. These dogs come topped with mustard, relish, onions, tomato wedges, a pickle spear, a sprinkle of celery salt and a poppy sead bun. mmmm!
