Abi and Brian ~ Sugar Clay Winery

A side note to all you brides out there ~ Its a personal decision of whether or not you want to see each other before the ceremony and usually I don't advise either way but in this case Abi and Brian's evening ceremony wasn't going to leave us much light for photos so this couple decided to see each other before the ceremony so we could spend lots of time getting awesome photos all over town and boy was it worth it! We were able to take our time and travel to several different locations with no pressure of a reception waiting to begin. Really awesome photos take time so if you are looking for some killer photojournalistic photos it is something to consider.

Ok now on to the good stuff! I got WAY carried away picking photos for this post so sit back and relax because this is going to be a long one! Abi and Brian got married on a gorgeous day at Sugar Clay Winery in Thurman Iowa. They are such a beautiful couple and couldn't be any sweeter. Abi and Brian were still able to have that sweet moment where you see each other for the first time. It was so sweet to see Abi totally relax once she was with Brian.

Once we got to this spot it took about 15 seconds for the cops to show up! It turned out to be their friend Nick wanting to congratulate the couple but I couldnt' resist taking this shot once he got out his night stick!!

However the cops arriving was not nearly as scary as the snake that we saw when we got out of the car. It definetely made me not want to lay on the ground like i had originally planned.Then it was off to the winery to meet the rest of the bridal party.
