Jill & Jeremy

Meet Jill and Jeremy. Jill and I became friends right after I moved to Nebraska and she is just the sweetest, most genuine person ever. She is just one of those people that makes you smile just being around her. Jill is getting married now to Jeremy, a great guy who makes her the happiest I have ever seen her. They just seem like such a solid couple and they compliment each other perfectly. Jill has a little boy named Zach that is just the cutest so of course I said yes when she asked if she could bring him along on their engagement shoot. He was so into it and had all kinds of ideas for photos. It was so cute. The four of us had a great time just walking around the side streets and goofing around. I can't wait to shoot their wedding at Omaha's Botanical Gardens next summer. I love this next sequence.

Sarah & Sean ~ Annapolis, MD

A few weeks ago Sarah and Sean got married at the Naval Academy in Downtown Annapolis. They are such a fantastically fun couple and immediately made me feel like a friend simply sharing in their special day with them. They were just both so welcoming and sincere that it really made for a great day.
We had a mini monsoon while the girls were getting ready but fortunately it stopped raining and dried out by the time the ceremony rolled around.
Sarah didn't even realize that it was raining until it had already finished. I love this photo of when she first looked out the window. She was an absolutely stunning bride so I will have lots of favorites.

Sarah wore really cool red shoes with her wedding dress. I love fun details like that.

Did I mention that Sarah is mega gorgeous?

A little jumping on the bed to relieve the wedding day stresses.

Along with me for the day was Erin J as my second shooter. She did such a great job and I'm very grateful for all her help. While I was with all the girls getting ready Erin took all the groomsmen to the Naval Academy Stadium for some really fun photos. Luckily they got all their photos in before it started raining. You can check more of her photos from the wedding out on her blog. Here are a few I swiped from her blog.

The gorgeous Naval Academy Chapel.

Then it was on to the reception.
Erin got some great photos of Sean and Sarah during the hilarious toasts.

Dance off!
Dance off!

Thanks for letting me capture your special day!
** Just a little fun photo for you that Erin snapped of me while I was demonstrating what I wanted Sarah to do. Doesn't it look sooo much sexier when Sarah does it? I'm such a geek!!
